Whitespace is the primary design material. It creates hierarchy, establishes rhythm, and gives content room to communicate without competition.

Principles
01
Whitespace is the primary design material. It creates hierarchy, establishes rhythm, and gives content room to communicate without competition.
02
Surfaces are what they appear to be. No simulated textures, no artificial depth. Light and shadow are used truthfully, not decoratively.
03
Two typefaces, used with discipline. Serif for identity and emphasis. Sans-serif for explanation and navigation. No mixing roles.
04
An object is beautiful when it works well. Ornamentation that does not serve function is removed during refinement.
Selected objects
A container component that holds content with appropriate margins and responds to viewport changes without losing proportion.
Component / Layout
A card primitive with considered elevation. The shadow is warm, barely visible, and exists only to separate plane from ground.
Component / Card
Typographic scale tokens tuned for optical balance. Each step in the scale carries a specific role and never overlaps with another.
Token / Typography
"Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away."
Antoine de Saint-Exupery
The studio
Ceramic was established as a response to visual excess. We believe the most effective interfaces are the ones that disappear into their purpose, letting content and function lead every interaction.
